Class Descriptions ~Scroll down for prices and class times~ Level 1: Suitable for new yoga students; no previous experience required Level 2: Previous yoga experience required. All Levels: Suitable for any student. Instruction with multiple choices to accommodate groups of mixed yoga experience. Intro to Yoga (Level 1) A free 75 minute introductory class held the first Saturday of each month. We explore the philosophy of yoga, practice breath-work, and explore basic alignment principles of yoga poses. Become more comfortable with the yoga vocabulary and the class setting. This class will also create a great foundation for all our other classes. Yoga Basics (Level 1) Perfect for beginners to learn alignment of yoga postures; for experienced students to refine their practice. Pranayama (All levels) 30 minute class. Prana is our life force—our vital energy. Discover useful breathing techniques to better tap into our natural wellspring, recharging the mind and body. Hot Yoga
(All Levels) Hatha Flow (All levels) Set in a moderately warm room. Borrows postures from several yoga traditions, and introduces vinyasa (flowing and linking transitions) in an approachable way. Vital Energy Yoga (Level 2) This unique class enhances circulation, cardiovascular health, and awakens dormant energy. With the use of brisk, pulsing yoga poses combined with breath of fire (kapalabhati pranayama) this invigorating practice especially cleanses and purifies. This class ignites your inner fire (agni)! The use of mudras, toning and music add to the experience. Not advisable for expectant mothers or those with high blood pressure. Ashtanga (Level 2) The “Primary Series,” an athletic sequence of yoga postures linked with breath and energy locks (Bandhas). Based on the tradition of K. Pattabhi Jois. A strong, cardiovascular style of yoga. (Teachers have studied under guidance of prominent teachers in this style.) Vinyasa (Level 2) Vinyasa means “a marriage of breath and movement.” A challenging flow class that blends a wide variety of asanas and transitions. Creative moment to moment, drawing on aspects of several styles of yoga. (Our teachers are trained in a wealth of yoga traditions; visit our teachers page for details.) Sun salutations are used as a backbone.

You will Need No pre-registration is necessary before coming to class. Just arrive 10 minutes early to complete a consent form.
