CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
FOUNDATIONS of YOGA Perfect for beginners, this non-flowing class teaches the essentials to develop your yoga practice. Focusing on alignment, breath, and use of props, all students will find this class useful to their practice -- especially good for students just beginning a practice.
BASIC FLOW A gentle, flowing practice incorporating the basic yoga postures with plenty of instruction for a safe and graceful practice. Appropriate for all students, including beginners.
HATHA FLOW A flowing practice borrowing from several yoga traditions. Includes some more challenging postures and transitions with modification options. Some yoga experience is helpful but not required.
VINYASA A marriage of breath and movement, this challenging flow class will awaken your spirit! Creative and varied, each class offers basic to challenging postures linked with breath and grace. Some yoga experience recommended.
RESTORATIVE YOGA A gentle, healing practice. Includes a soft sequence of yoga poses designed to reduce stress and gently open the body. Complements more rigorous practices. Great for all levels; appropriate for beginners.
H2 Flow A flow class emphasizing opening hips and hamstrings through active flow followed by deep stretch. Experience recommended but not required.
HOT YOGA Set in a very warm room of around 90 degrees, the class follows the 26 postures familiar to the tradition presented by Bikram Choudhury. A great class for all levels.
PRANAYAMA Prana is life force – our vital energy. Discover useful breathing techniques to tap into our natural wellspring and recharge. For all students.
